1. How do you compare to other laser companies?
In terms of material processing, there are three major types of laser companies: Engraving, Light Industrial, and Heavy Industrial. Companies in the Engraving segment utilize lasers that are under 100w, and specialize in engraving and marking. Customers of this segment include trophy shops and consumer goods companies. Companies in the Light Industrial segment utilize lasers that are 100w – 500w, and build powerful machine tools with a broad set of applications—from cutting to engraving, and small to large production needs. Customers of this segment include manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, job shops, custom graphics companies, model makers, and aerospace contractors. The Heavy Industrial segment specializes in equipment for industrial use such as cutting thicker sheet metal cutting or welding on an assembly line. Lasers for these applications generally start at several thousand watts. And customers of this segment include sheet metal fabricators as well as heavy machinery and automotive manufacturers.
Beam Dynamics’ primary offerings lie in the Light Industrial segment. We were one of the first companies to enter the market, and have developed a flexible and safe machine for a wide range of applications and materials. Our machines range from 100w – 500w. Our products are designed specifically for laser cutting and contain proprietary features like variable power control that allow for substantial versatility in a single machine. High performance and reliability, ease of use, safety features, and affordability are among the many reasons why we are the leading industry choice for laser cutting machines.
2. What services do you offer?
All machines include on-site installation and training, ongoing telephone support, on-site support as needed, and a one-year warranty. You will also receive BEAM’s proprietary Laser-Link software, a powerful CAD/CAM package designed specifically for laser cutting.
3. What support can you provide me in solving my problem?
You will receive ongoing telephone support and online support when you purchase a machine. We also provide on-site support as required. You will be given a problem document report, which you can send to our service department. Based on follow-up discussions, we will determine if your problem can be resolved over the phone or if a visit needs to be arranged.
4. How quickly can you deliver a machine?
Generally, you will receive your machine within 8-12 weeks from the date of your order.
5. What are the advantages of BEAM products?
Beam Dynamics products are fully integrated laser machines, encompassing the entire laser cutting process from the software package to the mechanical motion machine. Our machines are designed specifically for laser cutting, as is the Laser-Link software. There are no compromises—it is not too heavy, it can move extremely fast, and it has dynamic precision. Our machines are easy to use, and do not require special training.
